Pearly gates vs Dimarzio PAF

Greetings, I am looking for a vintage style pickup for dark/hard rock. I'm going for a black sabbath / Ghost BC tone. Thinking about either a Duncan pearly gates or a Dimarzio PAF (36 aniversery or master). I have a les paul style guitar( mahogany body, maple cap, rosewood board, etc). Any thoughts?

PG hands down in that match up. It's currently my favorite neck p/up for a LP. Had one in for 16 years.

What about a P-rail with the 3 position p/up ring. Gets that early Sabbath tone covered in the P90 spot.
