Peavey ValveKing VK100 question

To all VK100 users.
This head uses 4 6L6 tubes in the power section. I have read the manual there is nothing about running only 2 tubes.

My problem is: 1 power tube isn't working.
My question is: can you take 2 tubes out and run it using only 2 tubes?.
I want to avoid: to buy 4 new tubes.

I'm afraid not. The heaters are wired in series, so there's no way to pull two tubes and still have it work. The PV VK's are one of the very few amps that actually use this design as most other amps have the heaters wired in parallel.
