I got this back from Mather Cabs today (http://www.mathercab.com)...they did a wonderful job!

Front, no logo:

The Peavey backpanel design was a better fit for the chassis.

Hey...let's put a logo on there! (Logo by Mojotone - http://www.mojotone.com.)

Hah..... :)
Pete is a decent guy, does nice work and charges a reasonable price.
Anytime i do a Conversion/Custom type of amp, i send the chassis dimensions to Mather.
Nice looking 1/2 stack.

You know what's kinda wacky? The Windsor's not actually a proper M-type circuit. It ALMOST is but for some reason they're not feeding the tonestack with a cathode follower. Looking at the schematic I don't think it would be very hard to mod that last stage to be a CF and it would lose less signal to the tonestack. I wonder if I could find one cheap and do that... Hmmmm...

Prices are starting to creep up. Guitar Center used gear site sells them for $300 now (used to be $200) and they're not popping up on Craigslist as much anymore (at least not in my area).

It's a popular one to mod.
This is part of a well used mod out there.

Actually, the CF mod might cost nothing. I'm in the passenger seat of the car right now but I'm pretty sure that the schematic says that all the necessary parts are already in the amp.
