I wonder, is it possible to put a Danelectro pedal in a better box? Of course it's not me that's gonna "do it" it'll be my friend at the local music store who works with pedals almost all day.

Is it possible? Do i need anything except a new box?

Just make sure the box is big enough to hold all the components and the holes for pots, power supply jack etc. and you're good to go...

I used to have this old Heathkit distortion pedal. It was horrible, but the case was really cool. I traded it to my local music store. They ended up putting the guts to a DS-1 into it. Suddenly it was a cool pedal.
