I use a lot of effects so I currently use 2 pedal boards - 1 for the essentials, the other for less used effects. The 2nd pedal board is linked using a loop master pedal.

The advantages are:

Less noise

Ability to turn on multiple effects with a single button.

I was thinking of 2 pedal boards- one for the front of the amp (wah, phase, flange, chorus) and one for the effects loop- delay and reverb- since the EVH amp allows me to bypass the effects loop directly from the channel switching footswitch
