i have BOSS MZ-2 digital metalizer. I happen to think it's a super sounding pedal.. it could use some improvement, sure.....but, who among us couldn't? i need some repair work to it, and a couple o' mods......but, no-one seems capable to do it. maybe YOU know someone??????............please, inundate me w/ modder contacts.

half digital. it contains 2 boards. 1 dig., and 1 analog.

Have a look inside - you can always replace the (brown 5%) resistors with metal film (blue 1%) resistors which have tighter tolerances. You can also replace the electrolytic capacitors with same value but higher voltages - this may increase headroom. But I think the most effective mod would be to replace the OPamp which is usually a cheap one such as 4558dd or something and put in a Burr Brown which will reduce noise and give a clearer more defined output.
