Pedal troubleshooting

I have an EHX Deluxe Memory Man. The 5 - knob version in the older chassis. I hear a loud pop when the pedal is engaged. Also recently, the pedal turns on, however sometimes there is no sound. I have seen a few previous threads about this issue, however they were from other pedals. Any suggestions on how to fix are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the footswitch is pooping out.
