Got these pickups installed in my Chapman ML2 Pro Modern and boy does it sound sweet!! It’s got a great tone ...searing leads and chunky crunchy riffs and chords. I got to play a few hours last night and now I’ll be itching to get out of work today so I can jam all evening tonight hahaha

I've always thought the pegasus was a very good pickup. It reminds me of my custom shop humbucker in a way, especially the low end. Good choice, man.

Thanks! I’m glad I checked into this forum before plunking down on new pickups. I really feel that reading these threads and hearing what everyone has to say lead me to choosing the perfect pair of pickups for the sound I want!

I've been getting increasingly interested in Chapman guitars. The ML-2 is the LP style, right?

I am happy you like them! Come back in a month or so and let us hear the extended review.

You really get a good combination of features on this guitar. Great (typical) combinations of maple and mahogany with an ebony fretboard, great frets, neck-through design that gives excellent access to the 24th fret, hipshot locking tuners ...you could google and learn more.

But I wasn’t really pleased with the pickups. I put these in and the guitar sings now!

Here’s a pic before I swapped out the pups.

@JB_From_Hell, let me also add if you are in the USA and you don’t have a store that has the Chapman you want, DEFINITELY purchase online from Riff City. I had a little issue with mine and these guys treat you like royalty to get any issues resolved.

Yeah, I really love the Pegasus and Sentient. I have been through so many of the Duncan's and other selections of pickups, and I really love the "Duncan" tone. My two favorite bridge pickups these days for clean, versatility, and great metal tones would have to be the Pegasus and the Surh Thornbucker +. My first Surh experience has my attention big time with this Thornbucker +, it's amazing!
