hey guys

i was realy bored during the "Yom Kipur" holiday [jewish holiday]
so i started digging up videos from my computer and petrucci's video came up. the video is so useless its painful
anyways, part 3 of it begins with a realy cool improvisation JP does with a sequencer, one of my favorite petrucci things :D

anyways i took it out on my guitar and happened to find a fitting backing track ;)
so i recorded my take on it. pretty much sticked to what he does but its not 1-on-1, i dont want to sound exactly like him and didnt like some of the phrases there either.
what came out is probably best describe as: 'dudu with a petrucci vibe'

it'd be sweet if you guys listen to it and give your opinion

i hate you :D

playing is very fluid, as usual .. you repeat the hammer-pulls at about a minute in a bit too much and you got the same thing goin at 1:20 but that one fits in better.

now tone.. the bottom end sounds a tad gritty.. dont really know how to explain it.. sounds like me going berserk on the 59n and it starts to clip the signal LOL while not entirely bad, you got a bit too much of that going on.

all in all pretty nice, reminds me a lot of a slovene Steve Vai wannabe (who is pretty damn good though) i should send some samples of him your way guys

Sounds great as always pal.....are you sure you're only 15???? :) I damn sure wish that I could've played like that when I was your age.

That tone was very nice. I enjoyed the phrasing towards the beginning. Very solid showing bro....

That still sounds like you

(A very good thing!)

The tones a bit too big for the track though, try using a smaller cab size from the POD or just reduce the bass a bit :D

the tone could be alittle overkill on the bass.
but i like my tone pretty bassy.

was recorded with the Kelly on the neck position.

I'm really impressed with your chops. I loved some of the slower phrases, but I wasn't to thrilled with the shred stuff. Just my $0.02.

that was some great stuff. i am always hesitent to listen to your stuff because ur a year younger then me and well you put me to shame lol. but very nice chops man, keep it up
