PG or Phat Cat in neck w/JB

OK, I have a warmoth tele that is my #1. It has the phat cat in the neck and an old JB in the bridge. I love the JB, but am lukewarm on the phat cat. I am looking for something with just a little more push and top end, is the PG what I'm looking for?

I've used the PGn and JB combo and I think it works very well. I liked the PG for slightly cleaner, fuller sounding passages while the JB was for my full on tone; I wasn't crazy about the tone when the pickups were combined but the guitar was very versatile when using the bridge v neck position. I switched the PG out for a Jazz neck and like the combined tone better now. Have you tried a Jazz neck? They're quite nice with the JB; SD himself uses the combo in a Tele.

OK, I did a 360 and put the Cat in the bridge (it was a bridge model anyway) and the Pearly in the neck. Tone report forthcoming.
