PGB Pole spacing

I just got an older SD pup (potted) with a label on the bottom PGB , I can't find any details on the pup, what magnet "should" be in it, and none of my covers (49.2, 50, and 52mm all too wide) fit.

Does anyone have an Idea what cover will fit it? Maybe 48.9?

If it was a Humbucker (as opposed to a Trembucker), the 49.2 should fit it. But technically, you need a Duncan cover, which is 49.022 mm, for best results. You might think that 0.178 mm shouldn't make a difference, but IME, it does. For the best fit on Duncan pickups, you need Duncan covers. Same with DiMarzios. Only their own covers fit them perfectly.

The original magnet was an A2.

Itsabass, thx for the reply, but for sure the 49.2 is not a fit. I "could" hog out the holes that don't fit but I'd rather not.
