Ebony board, mahogany body.

Still undecided on the neck pup.
gonna go with the 59 for the bridge.
replacing custom/jazz combo (not sweet enough).

The PGn is IMHO the best of your 2 options. I have a Seth Lover neck 59b combo in my V and I love it.

The AP2n will be brighter and clearer than the PGn, the pg will be bassier on rhythm but will have a better woman tone on the leads.

the seth is nearer to a A5 Paf, more rocking, i would guess its the better choice

Well... I use the front pickup mainly for cleans and occasionally some harmony guitar parts.
