Phantom Powering Active Electronics

I was wondering if it is possible to phantom power active electronics using a sterio cable? I made up a diagram to explain:

I am pretty sure it will work, but will it cause interference or unwanted noise?

Re: Phantom Powering Active Electronics

Took me a second, but your diagram is fine. The 9-volts can be injected in several different places. It looks like you have it worked out great.

Re: Phantom Powering Active Electronics

EBS actually integrates this in their amps' input and FX-return, so you could phantom power your active bass or the last pedal in the FX-chain that has the ability to be powered through its output (EBS exclusively, IIRC). Great feature, I used it on my old EBS Gorm to power my Yamaha TRB5II.
