phase 90 true bypass..anyone?

anyone have the wiring/ schematics to do a 3pdt true bypass mod on a reissue phase 90? I know it involves cutting the pcb to fit the switch in there...just wanted to try this mod out...thanks

Search diystompboxes.com. There's a detailed explanation in the forum complete with pictures. You'll have to search for it though.

IMO, it's much easier to just build a loop box for it or put a buffer between the circuit out and the output jack (I did). Or, just get the EVH model. It's got a MUCH better bypass circuit and doesn't suck tone.

did the search but came up with no pics..even posted a query there....just wanted to mess around with this pedal and would much prefer to do a bypass mod on it....if you have the buffer schematics, would appreciate it. thanks

You didn't search the forum then. Some of the pics could be gone too but the threads are still there. Trust me, you don't want to get in to making a RI Phase 90 true bypass. You just don't. As quoted from one of the members there (I'm a member myself), "Trying to true bypass the reissues rates right up there with being impaled by a telephone pole."

For the buffer option, http://diy.erikhansen.net/phase90.htm. Look at the Output Buffer section at the bottom.
