Phat cat bridge in the neck?

has anyone tried this? will it sound ok matched up with a custom/59 hybird in the bridge of a sg standard?

I dont see why not. Its only like .5K hotter than the neck version. I dont see why it would be any big deal at all.

It depends on what you're looking for but in my opinion even the neck Phat Cat is a little muddy. I had one re-wound to 7.0k and it's perfect. But then I'm looking for mountain-stream clearness out of my neck pu.

If you play 99% of the time with overdrive/distortion and you want your neck pickup loud and rude, the bridge Phat Cat would probably work fine with your hybrid.
