Phat Cat in a semi?

Hi, new guy here.
I have a 335 with a dull and lifeless neck PU. I've been considering the Pearly Gates for a bit more treble, but I wanted to hear whether anyone have tried the Phat Cat in a semi? If so, what was your impressions?I play various pop, rock, funk, jazz, etc. styles and I'm a great fan of the early Grant Green tone that he got with his 330.

i havent tried it but i think phat cats would sound fantastic in a semihollowbody. i played a casino with p90's the other day and wasdd really diggin the tone

the Casino, that's pretty much the same as an ES-330, right? They do sound great, but they're fully hollow and one of my concerns is how great the difference is, and what the difference might be
