Phat cats in a 335

I have found "THE" pickup for a 335 (mine at least). I have been contemplating putting Phat cats in my 335 for a while. I kept the 57 Classics in it for about a year because I really wanted to give them a chance, but I found myself playing it less because of it's tone even though it's action makes it a dream to play. These Phat cats just opened it up and it really sings. All positions sound great. I highly recommend Phat cats for a semi-hollow body. I might have to swap out the Seth's in my LP for Phat cats. Anybody want to buy a set of Seth Lovers or 57 Classics?

I'm in the same position as you i have a humbucker type p90 in a korean L-5 copy and it really sounds great. My 335 still has the humbuckers because i did not want to sacrify the classic look! The DiMarzio Bluesbucker might be the ticket, but i'm not sure.

I have a few friends who put HB sized P90's in their 335's and they really liked it. I'm tempted to try it one of these days...just spent a week swapping out HB's in a 335 until I got it sorta right.

These Phat cats are going to stay in my 335. One, because they sound great (I love single coil pickups) and two, changing pickups in a 335 is a real bitch.
