hey, y'all!! here is a pic of my current rig. I may be getting a distortion box to replace the DS-1 shortly. I think it has too much of a mid hump. but this is how it is right now.

You mean people actually want that kind of tone?
Say what you will about the DS-1 though, I think it's one of the most useful pedals ever made. Especially for the price you can't beat it.

I can see it having its place. It's a lesser-used effect, I'm sure, but I think in the right hands it could really add interest.
the LoFi is just that - Low Fidelity. I have it set for "AM Radio" (which was supplied in the manual) and it really sounds like an AM radio. there are 2 knobs that control the tone. One for lows and one for highs. What it actually does is move the frequency points on the filters so on the lows, the more clockwise, the higher the cut-off point. it's opposite on the highs side. if you have the lows full clockwise and the highs full counter-clockwise, you only get like 1 kHz coming through.
