Re: Picked up a real up bag of sh!te last weekend!
Cheers fellas. First rehearsal with it last night and once I got used to the eq compared to my other Sandbergs with big fat humbuckers it was fantastic. Easier to play, a more articulate clearer sound and it just feels like an old pair of jeans.... I love it. I know a lot of folk don't like the whole relic thing and I get it, but one things for sure I don't have to worry about being too careful with it! Ha ha. That's not what this is all about for me, the care and attention to detail is astonishing and even though my other Sandbergs are Pro level instruments this is a clear step up and well worth the investment. I've always wanted a '65 Jazz since I played my mates and I'm not disappointed with anything. This is one of those instruments that inspired you, you feel it vibrate and don't want to put it down. The only limitation is me, I really want to step up my game to the most out of it.
I'll be interested to see what my mate thinks compared to his but as I say to my mates and band mates, I buy gear for me to enjoy and not them!
