Picked up WLH set for cheap... anyone put these in a Tele?

Hey folks

I just snagged a WLH set off Reverb for 90 bucks... You can find amazing deals on their sometimes.

I did not really have a guitar in mind for these, but always pull the trigger on good deals when I can.

I've been looking into bulding a new SSS Strat but am thiking these pickups may be great for a Tele build. I just put together an all maple neck American Deluxe body Tele with a Brent Mason setup and previously had a USA ASAT Deluxe that I never should have let go, which had a mahogany body, flame maple top, maple neck with rosewood board and a 59/JB combo.

Anyone used these in a HH Tele yet? I was also thinking these may be great for a backup SG to my 71 Standard, which has T Tops in it.

I have a les Paul Elegant with WCRs that sounds killer and my Dean SOltero USA MHG has a C5 and 59A4 set in it right now. I'd rather upgrade the pots in that before swapping pickups again.

Anyone tried these in a semi hollow as well?

I think 175 and Hydro have them in semi hollows.

Ex250 has them in a strat

Im sure they would sound excellent in a Tele.

They are quite sensitive to height. They can be real abrasive and nasal in the midrange if you get a little crazy with height. But once ya dial em in, they are excellent.
