I've seen templates somewhere that you can download, just can't remember exactly where. Those are the sites I most often go to for parts and such.

without sounding like a jerk, here's what i'd recommend doing
if you have a router/table which i assume you do since you asked for the template
1) buy pickguard in desired shape
2) rough cut template material of your choice - i alwasy like plexi, but some people like mdf or steel
3) double sided tape rough cut to real pickguard, router away

if you get a flush trim bit - i.e. if you have a router table the bit sticks out of hte table and there is a bearing at the top
there is also a little gap between the bearing and the cutter
therefore you can run the bearing along the pickgaur and salvage the pickgaurd
but definitely cut to shape first and drill the pickup holes to make routing easier
