Pickguard opinions please....

I'm getting a pickguard from Lew for my SRV strat but can't decide the color. Trying to decide from Tortoise, White or White Pearl. Lew likes the white pearl and I never really thought about that until he mentioned it.....that would probably be cool. Opinions please.......

Would be 3-tone sunburst wouldn't it?

In that case, white pearl, otherwise black :P

IMO, go for black. i have a toroise on my strat, but its transparent butterscotch blonde (which i love by the way). i think black would look cool.

I had an SRV for a few weeks, and it had an off-white guard installed. Looked nice, and not too SRV clone-ish.

My 76 strat has a black guard with off-white pickup covers and controls, in classic SRV style. I like that look, too, but I guess you're trying to get away from that.

Tortoise with white pickups also looks nice, too.

Guess I've just served to confuse, rather than boil it down. Oh well...

You guys are all smoking! Rusted Diamond Plate is the way to go! Either that or transparent neon pink. That way you could install LEDs underneath the pickguard.

Mint green, i think it goes well on any strat.

With a three tone tobacco sunburst finish, something simple like a tortoise or a black would look really tasteful and classy IMHO.

Hey, the rusted metal diamond plate.....that's it!! Looks like the opinions are pretty split. Gotta admit that last pic by Dr. is pretty nice. Although the white pearl is cool too. Any more pics or opinions are appreciated. How am I supposed to get any work done when I've got more important issues going on??!!

I gotta say mint green w/ aged parts. It looks good on just about ANY strat, IMHO.
