modern vs 50s wiring for the tone pot

Ok, I get it. Yeah it's done the modern way. Even all my Telecasters are. So far I have changed out the neck pickup and single coil. The more difficult work is done. My SH-11 should arrive this Wednesday. I'll install it, string it up and see what we have. Thanks all, for your help.

I'll post a video of my results and we'll see how my pickup swap sounds.

I was able to complete the pickup replacement and all wiring is correct. In the little bit I was able to play last night, the pickups sound great; a noticeable difference. I will work on posting a video.

I do like them, but I'm still a Telecaster guy. The humbuckers give me a different voice which can bring new and different inspiration.
