For sure I am getting the 78 Model for the bridge.
In the middle position I was considering an Invader for a huge bold sound. Do Invaders work well in the middle position?
And in the neck position I would like a humbucker with a completly different tone than the other 2. Maybe something that has good highs, if that is possible at the neck?
I will be playing each pickup by itself and not together. I am trying to get 3 totally unique tones from one guitar. I can't afford 3 guitars.

You could go with an Alnico II in the neck.

Yes, an Alnico II Pro or Pearly Gates in the neck would be my recommendation. I'd probably go with either of those for the middle position too. Lew

How bout putting the invader in the neck (I've had em there before and they sound Magnificent. Really probably my 2nd fav neck bucker really). They're Uber fat sounding, but still seemed to retain highs well in the neck (Dunno what body wood yer useing though).
Then Try a Full shred in the Middle (Suppoused to be really articulate, But I've never tryed one).
That sounds like a kool, really unique combo to me. All three of the p'up would be ones that aren't really used by to many people.
Ya could also Put in tripple mini switches (one for each p'up). And wire em ta have each pickup on/off and maybe sumthing to throw em outta phase with eachother, Or something to split the coils.
Probably end up being alotta switches (which sounds fun, but gets really annoying after awhile). But you would deffinately have at least Three guitars worth of sounds in there.
Might try a stagmag in the neck possition, so when split ya get more of a "strat" sorta single coil tone.
