Pickup DIs

Does anyone here have pickup DIs? I was searching for these here, but couldn't find any. Might be cool to put together a collection of them for reference. Not only Seymour Duncan brand, but anything. If there is already a thread of these i apologize. If not...I'll post some DIs later today of the guitars i have a home.

Currently i own:

Squier John 5 tele (stock bridge/Gravity Storm neck)
Squier Jim Root tele (stock)
Schecter C1 Platinum (EMG 81/85)

What is a p'up DI?

I'm guessing the direct signal off a guitar recorded with a DI box?

Though, honestly, I don't see what use it could be as there will be MANY variables that can affect the end product like wood type, scale lenght, string gauge, technique, quality of the DI box, quality of the converters, how hot the DI's are tracked, etc.

Like it was mentioned...Just the pickup in the guitar recorded straight in. No amp, or anything in the chain. There are factors that will play into it (guitar body wood, neck wood, bolt on vs. neck thru, etc)
I just figured this way...if you wanna know what a certain pickup sounds like in a certain guitar(like a JB in the bridge of a Les Paul)...you can grab the DI and run it into whatever rig you want to hear what it sounds like.
Maybe not as many here are into this. Just thought it might be cool.
