pickup for arch enemy sound

I'm really a big fan of michael amott of arch enemy and think that he got the best guitar sound ever. I need a pickup to my guitar with mohogny neck and body with ebony fretboard and a floyd rose so that I could get the same sound.
since michael has a rosewood fretboard and uses as sh-4 maybe I could get the same sound with a ebony fretboard and a sh-6?

The JB or Distortion would be a good start, but his tone is due more to his amp.

but wich one of the jb or the distortion du you would be best?
Of cource does the amo do a great part of his sound but when a tryed a esp ninja I really liked the sound I want my guitar to sound the same

What I'm saying is unless you have his amp (and pedals), the pickup isn't gonna make that much difference.

He uses Kranks and Mesas, and if you're using a Marshall, it won't matter if the pickup is a JB, Distortion, Invader, etc....

What kind of amp are you using?

I haven't actually got the guitar yet so can't comment on that

it's a custom built guitar that I'm going to order soon, so I have to choose a pickup before I've tested it

Ok, I getcha. Go with the Distortion. The only reason I'm saying that is, of the two, I like it better. However, both are great pickups.
