Hello all! I bought this pickup a few years ago on ebay. It had no sticker on the bottom, but the seller said it was a Pearly Gates bridge. The DC resistance measures 8.31 to 8.33, depending which of my meters I use, temperature, etc. When I look at the Tone Chart, the PGb seems to be the only Duncan offering (neck or bridge) that falls in this resistance range. It has the short legs, "Seymour Duncan Made in America" stamped on the baseplate, and "Seymour Duncan" silk-screened on the bobbin.
So, for the experts on here: do you think this is a Pearly Gates bridge? I'd just like some confirmation, yay or nay...
*****PLEASE NOTE****** I added the vintage braided 2-conductor cable -- it originally had the black four-conductor on it*******

This pickup sounds great with a UOA5 in my Orville LP Goldtop. It definitely has the "Harmonics jump out of the guitar" thing down! I found I preferred roughcast A2 mags to the stock A2, but REALLY, REALLY like the UOA5 in this pup. I have another one (confirmed, with the sticker) in the bridge of an Epi Flying V. The two pups sound very similar (as much as can be determined, given the different woods/composition in these two guitars).
Thanks for any help!!
