pickup magnets

I have a custom 5 in my ibanezrg520.I read on here that you can get a alnico 2 and put it in and it is a custom custom.Is this true because I like the sound of the custom custom.It seems to have more midrange and it's thicker sound. :wink:

Yep, spot on. The C, CC and C5 are the same pu with different magnets.
