pickup output problems

I recently installed a Bill Lawerence L-500 humbucker in the bridge of my les paul copy and the neck pickup (stock) has about 10X the amound of output of the bridge. Is there somewheres where I messed up soldering or something cause this output drop seems too much to just be caused by a lower output pickup

Re: pickup output problems

if you followed the wiring diagrams correctly it should work.
Possibilities can lie in the switch, pots or bad solder joints.

hmmmmmmmm

Re: pickup output problems

well considering it worked perfectly berfore the swap i'll put my money on bad solder joints. i'll have to try again

yea deffinatly bad solder joints, make sure the pickup's height is adjusted properly as well

hmm, did u solder anything to the pots?
coz if u did, and didnt do it properly u might have damaged the pot as well. so do check that as well if it still doesnt work after u redo the soldering.
