Pickup Rec for dark-sounding Hagstrom Swede D2F.

I need a pickup recommendation for a Hagstrom Swede D2F, which is a dark-sound Les Paul-style guitar. The stock pickups are very dark-sounding, as is the guitar. This is my first dark-sounding Les Paul guitar, and I'm enjoying it a lot after of lifetime of bright guitars.

I'm looking for some low to medium-output humbuckers that will retain a bit of the syrupy voice, but are more balanced and will let some more, and sweeter highs through. The guitar is tuned to C-standard with big strings, and I use it for everything from pop to doom. If it sounds ok split, that would be a bonus.

The C/59 Hybrid sounds lie just what you're after....open and sometimes crisp due to the offest coils, but thick enough to power through a lot of genre's. Will split to the custom coil for a more powerful tone.

One more thing: I'm usually a single-coil guy, so my output needs are modest. The C/59 sounds pretty cool.

Don't know squat about tuned to C-standard tuning.

Have the 59/Custom in a LP and a SG and in both guitars it plays nice. This pickup also can be aggressive with harder picking.

It works well with a Jazz neck if you are looking for a smoother/ matching neck pickup.

APH set will give you more sweet highs.
Jazz set will give you more crystalline highs.
