Pickup recommendation Tele Thinline

Hello,
I am putting together a walnut tell thinline with a humbucker in the neck and a single in the bridge. I was thinking of going with the SH3 Stag Mag in the neck and the STKT2 Hot Tele lead stack in the bridge. Any opinions or other recommendations?

Thanks

Unless you routinely play in an environment where a humbucker is necessary, I'd go with a real single in the bridge. The Hot for Tele tapped is pretty good at being loud and fat while using all the coil windings, but does a pretty good vintage tele approximation when tapped.

Also, thinking about doing the 4-way tele wiring with one push-pull to split the humbucker, any thoughts?

Two push/pulls will give you quite a number of options with splitting the
Stag Mag and tapping any dual output bridge pickup.

Beware that the series position with two high ouput pickups
may get muddy and lack articulation.

Should be a versatile guitar though.:fing2:

I am absolute Duncan guy in all my Gibson style guitars. After a long search i ended with a p90/Humbucker sized in the neck and a DiMarzio Twang King bridge

I've heard a lot of great things about the Area T pickups. I'll probably give them a shot in my thinline in the next couple months.
