Well I have two humbuckers in my guitar right now and I am looking to replace them with 2 humbuckers only I would like to go with a real vintage sound. Also I am putting a single coil tele pickup in the center to. which should also have a vintage sound what do you guys recomend??

Re: Pickup replacements

Welcome to the forum.

What kind of guitar is it and what kind of construction (i.e. materials, design, & hardware) does it have? Also, what's the amplifier situation like?

Re: Pickup replacements

I guess you need a Seth Lover combo for a warm, deep, middy tone or a 59' set for a brighter, punchyer one.

Don't know the Seth's but the 59 are great pickups, quite trebly sometimes... but with the warm of a hollowbody the result could be amazing!!

Re: Pickup replacements

The Seth's will be great in a semi-hollow. I had them in my Epi Sheraton for a while and they smoked. I replaced them with Phat Cats and have been just as happy with them as well.
