Pickup Suggestions/Advice for Hagstrom Viking?

Hello folks.

I'm new here, so forgive me if all I'm doing is retreading old ground. In fact, I've already looked at a fair amount of 'what pickups should I use with my 335-alike?' threads on this forum and I'm afraid my own query is pretty much more of the same. HOWEVER, I can give you a definitive description of the kind of sound I'm after!

I'm a massive fan of Duane Dension (The Jesus Lizard/Tomahawk/The Unsemble, etc) and regularly employ a similar tone and style in my own playing - bright and clear with a fair amount of gain but not too much that individual notes in relatively busy riffs are lost. I'm not a big fan of high output pickups, which would be completely inappropriate for a semi solid instrument anyway, and although there appears to be a lot of love for Seth Lover's in semi solid instruments here, the potential for microphonic issues is something I'd rather avoid completely! I've been predominately using a LP studio equipped with Burstbucker Pros in my current band but recently acquired a Hagstrom Viking Rextone, which looks and plays wonderfully. Sadly, the same can't be said for the electronics/stock pickups so I'm looking to pimp it out.

My plan is to replace all the stock pots with 500k's and completely disconnect the 'rextone' switch, a feature which allows you to cut either the mids or both the mids and highs - utterly pointless in my humble opinion. Anyway, it would be great to get some advice on what pickups to go for. The bridge is the priority for me as I only ever use the neck on the odd occasion with it's volume around 5, although suggestions are welcome there too. At the moment I'm considering either a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates or a Bareknuckle Riff Raff for the bridge. I'm also into the idea of P90's as all my other guitars are equipped with humbuckers, but single coils are not really my forte and I have no idea what would be suitable.

Thanks for reading and if you have any advice then please let me know :)

whole lotta humbuckers are pretty hard to beat. They are the nicest set of pickups i've tried in my 335.
If they were an amp, they would be a Marshall JTM-50 with celestion g12h speakers.

For maple body and neck semihollow, I'd suggest A2Pro in the bridge and Phat Cat in the neck if you're into that P-90 idea.
