Pickup suggestions for fourth Tele type?

So in the near future I will have no less than FOUR Tele types:

A genuine MIM Telecaster with Fender Gen4 noiseless pickups, 5 way switch

First DIY with a Seymour Dunan Little 59 bridge humbucker and an S-D Vintage Stack in the neck, push pulls to coil split the humbucker and invert the neck.

Second DIY with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and a four way switch plus a push pull to invert the neck.

Suggestions for the third DIY?

SD Jerry Donahue pickups. Best I have ever come across. There isn't a particular JD neck, but they do sell a set that which I believe is the Vintage Tele neck. I prefer the JD bridge with a Twisted Tele type neck pickup. YMMV. But the JD bridge all day every day.

jerry Donahue is definitely a must try, i think!

(non duncan:
the zhangbucker ((tapped) super) Paul Bunyan is one of my favorites.
BKP also has great ones. CobraT (heavy!) or flat50s for example (pricey!!!).
dimarzio chopperT is not too shappy, also (great price)
they all could use a hotter neck, like a p-90, miniHum, filtertron, etc.)

but my taste might be different, because i didn't like the lil59. (too round)

Correct, that is what JD uses in his Tele for the neck. Using that pickup would require a permanent modification to a standard Tele though. There is a set that is sold as a JD bridge and neck pickup, but it is sold with a Vintage model Tele neck pickup. I am not fond of the SD vintage Tele-neck pickup with ANY modern, medium to hot bridge pickup. The volume difference and tone difference is WAY too different.

The SD JD bridge is the drone you are looking for!!!!

Another vote for the JD in the bridge. And a mini-hum is my fav Tele neck pup. Killer combo.

body yes, pickguard, no. i was able to put a firebird pup in the neck of my tele without any body modification so the lil 59 should fit fine but the pickguard is cut for the smaller tele neck pup so nothing else will fit other than a tele neck sized pup

I was thinking about the Hotrails set but I read elsewhere on the inter-nerd that people had problems getting them to fit into the existing cavities and / or bridge plate.

Would anyone from or associated with S-D like to comment?

Plan B is another Little 59 humbucker (which I love) in the bridge and another Vintage Stack in the neck.

i put a hot rails bridge pup into my american tele bridge without issue. maybe the mim or squire bridges are different?
