Pickup Upgrade Suggestions for Fender Strat

Hey!!! Soooo I was going to be upgrading my Fender Strat pickups. I used to have a Samick that had a JB Jr at the neck and Hot Rails at the bridge. I LOVED THAT COMBO/SOUND and miss it :/

I like the classic 3 single coil pickup config that fender strat's have, however, I never find a place for it in the music I play (I've tried, haha). Anyways, I want to throw in a JB Jr in the neck and Hot Rails at the bridge BUT i don't know what to throw in the middle position to compliment the other two.

Anyone have suggestions?!?!?!

Thanks guys!!

Thanks guys!!
Cool Rails/Vintage Rails for middle position would work nicely.

Also, you could try adding series/parallel switching for each pup since those are humbuckers.
That way you can get a lower output sound while retaining humbucking properties.

Thanks guys!!! Looks like I'll be going with Vintage Rails in the middle for my STRAT!!!

Ok one more question!!

In a JB Jr (neck); Vintage Rails (middle); Hot Rails (bridge) setup, would I be able to use the bridge version of the Vintage Rails in the middle position?!?!

Re: Pickup Upgrade Suggestions for Fender Strat

I would use the bridge Vintage Rails. Kinda underpowered, the bridge model would help.
