Pickup Wire Colors: SD V.s. Gibson.

So I'm installing some used burstbuckers in my SG and I want to use this wiring diagram and install them with the "Jimmy Page" wiring.

I just wanna check on how the colors match out. On the SD diagram it shows wires that are..

black
Red & White (is this supposed to be 2 wires going to the same place or one multi-color wire?)
bare
Green.

On these burstbuckers the colors are as follows...

black
bare (the bare wire is soldered to the black one at the tip already)
Red
Green
White (the green and white are also soldered together at the tip)

I just wanna be sure all the wire colors lead to the same functions between the SD's and the gibsons.

Thanks guys for any info.

Yeah, it looks like the green&white get soldered together for series humbucking whereas the Seymour Duncan diagram will show you red&white together for series.

You'll be able to use the SD diagram but have to translate it to Gibson color codes.:deal: Good Luck!
