FWIW, the Custom is one of my favorite pickups, it has plenty of 'tude, that early VH 'tude...

I thought the Pro Mods came with a JB in the bridge(?)

Touche'....... Its not a Pro Mod. It came with a Custom, which is now a Custom 8. Isnt bad, just looking for something alil different. I have C8s in several other guits.. Yes, change isnt needed, just wanted

Try some mag swaps with your custom. A5 = Custom 5, A2 = Custom Custom

I have. Running a Custom 8 in it now. Just have Several guits with C8s in them

Try an A3 in your jazz. Spanks like a single coil but still loud like a bucker

Don't know (or really care) about red, but every Charvel needs a JB. It is written.

needs be red to look good. My consider a JB. Just have a JB in my Kramer and looking for some variety

Ok.. Spent alil more time with this beasty yest. The Custom 8 is one of my favs and can prolly stay.. Nothing "wrong" with it, I was just considering something different as I have that pup in alot of axes. The jazz in the neck does seem bland in comparison. Another reason that I was also considering changing both pickups is because Dimarzio Red and Duncan red are different arent they? I figure it would look kinda odd having two diff colors of red for pickups..
