Pickups for Clean

I want to get a clean tone similar to the clean tone in Say it Ain't So by Weezer. Rivers' cleans are awesome! I have an Ibanez (Basswood, Maple, Rosewood) and a Yamaha (Agathis, Maple, Rosewood). I'm running through a Blackstar HT-20 Studio. Neck or bridge positions.

Doesn't take anything special to get that tone. Vintage style pickups though a nice amp set for clean.

And give the overdrive and distortion a rest for 3 or 4 minutes.
