What pickups would you recommend for a Ibanez S520EX? (Two humbuckers, mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, and floating trem that I have blocked.)
I want to use this guitar for mostly hard rock and classic rock, from Neil Young to AC/DC to Hendrix to Smashing Pumpkins.
Metal I do not play much, but its nice if its possible.
Denect cleans are welcome
I play through a Laney Ironheart IRT30, quite bright high gain amp with a good clean channel with plenty headroom.
I have a 5way switch, so they need to be splitttable. Thinking Neck/Neck paralell/Inner coils parallell/Bridge paralell/Bridge.
