Looking to replace the stock pickups in my PRS SE Custom 24 30th anniversary. Mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25" scale length.
Want something with medium output, good for rock/prog, not full on metal.
1st choice was a Dimarzio The Breed set, but I fear it may be too dark and muddy for this guitar?
Other pickups I've looked at are the Dimarzio Transition set and the SD JB/Jazz combo.
Any advice?
