hey, im getting my SZ-720FM soon, its a mahogany body.. and im wanting some ideas for pups, im not wanting all out metal,... ive got guitars for that with mustaine LWs, X2N and dimebuckers... so im all ok.. i want soemthing very virsitile, but not JB i dont think..

i think i have a Jazz bridge in a draw somewhere, but am having trouble hunting it down, im not limiting myself to seymour duncans, although i think il go Jazz in the neck... what about gibsons? a pair of burstbuckers?

thanks,
Dave.

Why not a JB? It's a versatile pickup and complements mahogany bodies very nicely. Also, I have never tried the 59 for a seven, but I think it would probably be an awesome bridge pickup and extremely versatile. But it might not give you the high end with that particular guitar.

oops, sorry I thought you were talking about a seven stringer.

I agree with that Folo said, JB complements mahogany plus its a pretty versatile pup. with the jb/jazz set i think its pretty good.
