Does anyone remember which single coil pickups came in a Kramer Stagemaster Deluxe 1 (SSH w/ tap) from a 1988 vintage. This was one of the ones with the carved top, neckthru, Floyd, ebony board w/ fancy inlays, etc.
The reason I am asking is because I found some pickups from an old Stagemaster that I used to own. The only markings on the single coils is on the back 'SD 88' and a white paper sticker on the back that has 'IR' on it.
I read some where that the earlier Stagemasters listed Seymour Duncan Vintage Staggered single coils, while somewhere else said they were APS-1's. Is this one and the same?
The pickups I found have staggered pole peices. Should I try to contact Duncan directly?
