hey guys; i'm starting a project (partscaster) in which i'm using a fender eric johnson strat body. i'm looking at 3 sets of pickups: ssl-5/ssl-1/ssl-1, lace sensor hot gold set with the high output bridge, or the callaham/fralin H/SRV special set. playing classic rock and blues; nothing contemporary or super high gain (never turn off my mi audio crunch box or blues pro; but never at the same time either). love gilmour tone (seymour set); clapton tone circa 24 nights cd (lace sensors minus the midboost/tbx circuit, never did anything for me) and read all kinds of good things about fralins (not worried about trying to sound like hendix or srv. . .never gonna happen). i guess i'm looking for a good all around, versatile setup. of the 3 setups, any suggestions from folks who have had some experience with them would be appreciated.
