W wfswfs New member Oct 17, 2014 #1 looking for a pair of humbuckers to replace my stocks on my tele. looking for the warm, saturated, ballsy with notes clarity when doing power chords singing sweet leads when on neck. i believe i need brighter pickups as my guitar body is agathis.

Hi, I'm sure you'll get plenty of nice answers but I'll suggest 2 things: 1- Tell us more about your rig and the music you intend to play with the guitar; 2- Post this over in the pick-up lounge section where all the pick-up discussions take place. uOpt Something Cool Oct 17, 2014 #4 Re: pickups that will never go wrong. APH1 or APH2 set. They also shouldn't be too boomy in a Tele. You need to be careful if you have long scale but no tremolo block.
