Pickups to replace 61R and 61T in SG

Hi.
Need new pickups for my new SG as I'm really not feeling this 61R and 61T. Its not bad bad, but its just a little too harsh and barky(?) for my taste.
I have 57 classics in my Les Paul and I really like them. I have a pegasus sentient set in an Eclipse that I also really like but I want them to sound a bit more like the 57s than that. I think of that kind of tone as 'creamy' even if some might think its muddy. I could just put 57s in it but that would be boring right?
Looking at the charts it seems like I like pickups with lower mids. I like doom and greasy rock type stuff. I have an orange RV100.

I'm currently looking at the Slash set, Saturday Night or Whole lotta sets (with covers).

SNS is ridiculously versatile. Not my favorite bedroom tone, but sits in the mix really well. I have a Slash set in my R7 and love it, but it is definitely much more mid focused than any of my other guitars. Great for soloing but gets muddy pretty easily.

I can attest that the Saturday Night Special-you can’t go wrong with that set.
I don’t have experience with the whole lotta nor slash.

I will add one suggestion if you’re looking for a paf vibe- the Mojotone 59 clones. They are a PAF wind, unpotted, and have alnico IV magnets. I have a set in a semi hollow and love them. I think they’d be killer in an SG.

Whole Lotta Humbucker would be closest to the description

Slash set would be second choice and would be different (the bridge is very even, not any particular character, neck has a wide mid hump to it)

As the cheap ass I am, I recommend you to buy two 500k resistor and solder them across your volume pots.

What about a magnet swap? Say a set of A2s, or an A3 in the neck and an UOA5 in the bridge?

Another option: A8 bridge for more mids and general power and a RC UOA5 in the neck to smooth it out a little but not lose much output.

I love low winds with A8.
