Was browsing Seth Lover's patent. Haven't read it fully yet. But seems he speaks of winding each bobbin in opposite directions.
On the other hand I've seen diagrams that specify winding then in the same direction, but connecting the inner (or outer) wires to each other to do the "out of phase" trick.
Anyone know what is correct and perhaps what typical commercial vintage type pickups do?
