Pickups with covers.

Hello! Newbie here.
Is it true that pickups with covers tend to feed back and "scream" more like pickups which don't have? :question:

Hey man, WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

It all depends on how well the pup is made. SD Seth Lovers, and Antiquities have no wax potting, however they don't squeal as much as cheaper pups. Most covered pups will have been wax potted (in SD's case vaccum wax potted) to keep the squealing to a bare minimum.

hey,welcome: TO ME THE COVERS LOWER THE OUTPUT A TOUCH,BUT NOT ENOUGH TO HURT,BESIDES THE COVERS LOOK SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!!!!

Thx. I'm getting a custom chambered solidbody built, and the plan was to put covered pus in it.. 59 bridge
