Very cool ! I'm still waiting for my custom chassis to arrive. Mine is gonna look a lot like yours.

very nice

Is it just me, or is the white wire a little small?

Mine is gonna be in a black wooden head, sitting on an a black Avatar 212 with the awesome new black grillcloth on it...Celestion v30/G12H30 combo...

Ultra mystical look!

Nothing makes me grin more than seeing the guts of a stripboard-wired amp. :)

looks like standard teflon stuff to me. most of us tend to overdo it a bit with wire gauge.

His name is Ed Giller, he primarily does Matchless clones and similar stuff, he can do Bassmans, Plexis, quite a variety, all in primitive looking wooden box heads...Really cool stuff apparently...HC reviews are good...

Here is a link to an auction on eBay...

wow, nice stuff @ killer prices! I like the clean, minimalistic look to his head cabs, too.

It's people like you that make me poor. :laugh2: Amazing stuff Scott.

I'm getting to where I really dig working with the double turret style boards.

Re: Pics of my handbuilt head coming to life!

What is it ? JTM45? has reverb too. Nice

Re: Pics of my handbuilt head coming to life!

Its a plexi/jtm45 variation, with master volume and reverb...

ordered with 6l6s, but it can change between KT66ss and EL34's by just rebiasing...

killer prices indeed!!! that 18watt clone for about $400s is mighty tempting!!
i mean $400!, madness!!

Re: Pics of my handbuilt head coming to life!

What caps, trannys and resistors is this guy using? They can't be anything too nice. A really nice plexi clone costs more than $400 in parts to build.
