Pignose Amps

Hey guys!

Anyone here have/have tried Pignose amps?
I'm looking at this particular models: G-40V and G-60V combos
Prices seem pretty reasonable.

Seems to be single channel full tube amps.

Cant find much info on them though which is why im asking over hear...
Prefer to hear it from you guys if possible!

I use to have one of these a bunch of years ago. It was an awesome little amp for like 50$. Battery powered and it lasted a couple hours. If I am correct I think Jeff Beck recorded a couple of cuts on one of his early records with this same amp. I have not played with any of the new ones.

there are a few sites about them. type in "pignose g40v mods" in google or something like that. the distortion is a bit crappy at first. but with some very simple mods...it becomes a much better amp. i was going to get one but i get a vintage guild instead
