I have a Walnut Brown Squier Telecaster Special with a bright humbucker in the bridge and an Alnico Strat neck pickup. I am thinking about a Pearly Gates/Lil 59 combination or a JB/Cool Rails set up for more power. I am open to suggestions and do like to shred as well as play jazzy stuff. I have two Strats and am not looking for a single coil sound.

The new Crazy 8 bridge(here's your excuse to get one) and a Cool/Hot Rails in the neck.
Add a 4-way tele switch, a .022 Hoveland cap and push/pull pots for coil tap.

I like the Phat Cat idea. I almost got an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. with a P-90. Got the SG with humbuckers instead. The Crazy 8 is not quite what I'm aiming for at this time. Will probably go with the HR/VR/Cr in one of the Strats to make a shredding machine. Thanks for the help.
